The Blue Meanies are regular faces on the local scene, playing venues all over the north west including of course, the place 'where it all began' - The Cavern. They are nationally very much in demand and are first choice for celebrity, film, football and media events throughout the UK and Europe.
High profile appeareances in recent times include the opening of 20 Forthlin Road (Paul McCartneys childhood home) and The Linda McCartney Breast cancer Charity gala.
On the 24th February 2002 the Meanies played to 3000 people at the Liverpool Empire. This concert was a celebration of the life of George Harrison and at the end of the concert the band were joined onstage by Sir Paul McCartney Sir Paul McCartney who put his arms around the Meanies Coburn brothers and remarked "George would have loved this"!
